G&A Counseling is a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care. With a newly expanded facility and a dynamic team of clinicians and support staff, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organized Part-Time Practice Manager to support the daily operations of our counseling practice. This role will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time as the practice grows. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, operational insight, and a passion for supporting mental health professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Support
- Assist with scheduling, intake coordination, and client services
- Support billing workflows and collaborate with billing staff
- Ensure effective use of TherapyNotes and other practice tools
Staff Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for administrative and clinical staff during the week
- Help onboard new team members and maintain staff documentation
- Promote a positive and organized work environment
Compliance & Quality
- Monitor HIPAA compliance and assist with internal audits
- Track licensure renewals and credentialing requirements
- Maintain accurate records and support documentation needs
Growth & Transition Planning
- Collaborate with leadership to identify operational gaps and growth opportunities
- Prepare for a transition to full-time as client volume and staffing needs increase
- Contribute to strategic planning and implementation efforts
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or behavioral health administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with TherapyNotes or similar EHR systems
- Understanding of Kentucky Medicaid and insurance billing
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- Experience with both W-2 and 1099 staffing models
- Background in mental health or social services settings
