School-Based Services

Meeting kids where they are.

What Are School-Based Services?

G&A Counseling provides therapy and targeted case management directly in 12 local schools across Madison County. By bringing services to where students already are, we remove transportation barriers, reduce stigma, and reach kids who might not otherwise access care.

Our school-based team provides on-site mental health support across Madison County schools, so students can receive care without missing a full day of school or needing a ride to an office appointment.

This is a differentiator for G&A. No other behavioral health practice in Madison County has this level of school-based reach.

Who Is This For?

  • Students experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or trauma
  • Children and adolescents who need support but face transportation barriers
  • Families who want their child to receive care during the school day
  • Students referred by school counselors, teachers, or parents

How It Works

School counselors or parents can refer students for services. Once referred, a G&A therapist or case manager is assigned and sessions are delivered during the school day in a private, confidential space. Services are billed through Medicaid or commercial insurance. Most families pay nothing out of pocket.
