Our Story
Locally owned. Community rooted. Here for you.

Toni Gaines, LPCC-S
Richmond has always been home for me. I've lived here my entire life, and from early on in my career I knew I wanted to give back to the community that shaped me. After completing graduate school, I spent several years working in a variety of agencies and was fortunate to learn from supervisors who truly believed in client-centered care. Their mentorship helped me grow not only as a clinician, but as a leader who understood the power of compassionate, accessible mental health services.
By 2017, I felt called to do more. I wanted to create a practice that met people exactly where they are, emotionally, mentally, and even geographically. That vision became G&A Counseling. From the beginning, my mission has been simple: remove barriers to care and bring high-quality mental health support to individuals and families who might otherwise go without it. Serving rural areas of Madison County has been especially important to me, because everyone deserves the opportunity to heal and feel supported, no matter where they live.
Every day, I'm grateful for the chance to serve this community. G&A Counseling was built on the belief that connection, understanding, and accessibility can change lives, and that belief continues to guide everything we do.
