Insurance & Medicaid

We Make Access Easy

G&A Counseling accepts Medicaid and most major Kentucky insurance plans. We believe insurance should never be a barrier to care, and that's why we work with the most widely used plans in Madison County.

Your First Visit

What to Expect

We know the first visit can feel overwhelming. Here's what to expect so you can walk in feeling prepared and confident.

1

Schedule Your Appointment

Book online through our patient portal, call us at (502) 783-7573, or have your provider submit a referral. We'll match you with the right therapist or case manager for your needs.

2

Complete Intake Paperwork

Before your first session, you'll complete intake forms that help your provider understand your history, needs, and goals. These can be completed online or at the office.

3

Your First Session

Your first appointment is a chance to get to know your provider. You'll discuss what brought you in, set goals, and start building a treatment plan together. There's no pressure, just an open, judgment-free conversation.

4

Ongoing Care

After your first session, you and your provider will set a schedule that works for you, whether that's weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed. Sessions are available in-person or via telehealth.

  • Photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)

  • An open mind (that's it!)
